Ownership is the Heers Family Trust, private ownership that allows the venue freedom to have great local entertainment, free from corporate interference. The Tuscany Hotel was opened in 2001 the casino made its debut in 2003. Restrooms are no-nonsense, and, as far as my experience goes, are clean and well-supplied. Dining options have good reviews and don’t bust the budget, and I’m told that rooms at the Tuscany are quite nice and reasonably priced. The casino is nice-sized, but not chaotic.

The Tuscany is comfortable for many reasons. The entertainment writer has his choice of theaters and lounges in Las Vegas, but many nights he enjoys the scene at the Tuscany, either in the Piazza Lounge or the Copa Room. John Katsilometes of the Las Vegas Review-Journal calls the entertainment venues at the Tuscany Suites & Casino “a great hang”.
